School is great, but the staff arent. Especially the principal. My daughter got into a horrible class and I went talking to him, he said she was a great teacher and no need to worry. Now my daughters teacher doesnt teach at all! I cant believe shes in that class

One can only imagine that he was probably a bully himself, while he attended school.

I would suggest looking into private school if you can afford it, or driving your child to another better operated public facility.

In addition, any requests that you may consider for your child to see the school councilling personal or to set up an Individualized Education Program (IEP) seem to fall on "Deaf Ears".

Another example of poorly run public education at this over populated suburban Surrey elementary school.

The head administrator and school principal while generally well regarded by most parents truly seems out of touch when it comes to disciplining repeat offending problem children.

The BC Ministry of Educations approach to leaving no child behind, and automatically passing them onto the next subsequent grade without giving children the assistance required to succeed... Seems improperly divided and shortsighted.

This (IEP) is a written statement of the educational program designed to meet a child's individual needs... I.E. to get extra assistance from the professionals that are paid by your tax dollars to provide a quality educational program.

Two great playgrounds and public washrooms.

Couple this with the lack of qualified attention that the administration of this school puts into looking out for the education of tomorrows future generation... And, the problem is almost laughable.

The administration viewpoint that "boys will be boys", is a poor reflection of our modern society's stance towards bullying.

Here is a quick tip before you put your kids in this school this school has a big bully problem with most kids me myself being a student has seen a lot of it ,the supervision is horrible they don't know what they're doing at all, there is so many physical fight there I could not count how many , how they handle these things are worse, no punishment for punching people at all so you get off the Hook easily so what I'm saying is that you should think twice before you put your kids into these people's hands

And, once requested an IEP, must be completed by the school principal, the child's teacher and school councillor.
